Jules Shulman

Jules Shulman (she/her) is originally from Manhattan, New York and started dancing at a small dance studio following her competitive gymnastics career. At age 13, she began attending LaGuardia High School for Performing Arts, where she graduated in 2020 as the Franklin Keller awardee. While there, she also joined the Junior Division Program at The Ailey School where she performed works by Adrienne Hurd, Frederick Earl Mosley, Christian von Howard, and Pedro Ruiz. She graduated summa cum laude in 2024 from the Ailey/Fordham BFA program with a BFA in Dance and a BA in Sociology, where she performed works choreographed by Ray Mercer, Christopher Huggins, Roderick George, Chris Bloom, Rebecca Margolick, and Maleek Washington. She has also attended summer programs at The Graham School, Parsons Dance, and Giordano Dance Chicago. Jules is extremely grateful and excited to join Giordano II for the upcoming 2024-2025 season!
