Erina Ueda

Erina Ueda, a native of Nagoya, Japan, and raised in Chandler, Arizona, is an accomplished dancer and artist who has made significant contributions to the world of dance. She is a distinguished member of Giordano Dance Chicago, being the first Asian female dancer in the company's history and soon stepping into her fourth season.


Beyond performing, Erina enhances the company's online presence as a videographer and social media manager, using her creative storytelling to captivate audiences. She is also the first Japanese individual to achieve all the way to the Professional Level of the Nan Giordano Certification Program®.


Erina graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona in 2021, with a major in Dance and a minor in Psychology. She has toured 6 countries and 17 states, mesmerizing audiences with her exceptional performances.


Her talent extends to film, having appeared in the 2018 Netflix film "Driven to Dance" and in an upcoming documentary by Emmy Award-winner Ryan Fitzgerald. Erina Ueda's unwavering commitment, artistry, and talent captivate and leave a lasting impact on audiences worldwide. This year, she is humbled to be selected in Dance Magazine's 25 To Watch.
